WARM WINTER 2022 - WARM SHARED EXPERIENCES IN MID-WINTER

After more than a month of preparation, on January 7th and 8th, 2023, the faculty and students of the Department of Construction Materials visited Kien Thiet commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang province to carry out the "Warm Winter 2022" volunteer program. " Warm Winter 2022" marks the 13th "Warm Winter" volunteer program of the Faculty of Construction Materials' student volunteer team. Through this program, the faculty and students of the Department of Construction Materials hope to share some of the hardships faced by children from three kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools, as well as some disadvantaged families in Kien Thiet commune. The trip was also an opportunity for the students to gain experience and cultivate compassion, and a collective activity for the students of the Department, fostering unity and camaraderie.
With such a spirit of compassion, the program received much attention from the leaders of Yen Son district, the leaders of Kien Thiet commune, and the principals of the three schools that helped organize it. At the same time, the 2022 Winter Warmth program also received support from the lecturers of the Faculty of Construction Materials, the Student Union of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, students, and alumni organizations and individuals such as Trung Manh Construction Co., Ltd., the Rural Book Program, the 2015 Master's Class in Construction Materials, etc.
The program included many activities such as gift giving, sports and cultural exchanges, bonfires, making banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), clearing vegetation, and cleaning the commune's stadium... The 2022 Winter Warmth program was a success, leaving beautiful memories in everyone's hearts.
