Faculty Welcomes Belgian and Canadian Professors for Thematic Lectures

On May 10, 2023, Professor Luc Courard, Director of the Institute of Non-Metallic Civil Building Materials (ArGEnCo) - University of Liège, and Professor Benoît Bissonnette, Faculty of Civil Engineering - University of Laval, conducted a training course on "Pathologies of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Structures and Repair Solutions" for students in the High-Quality Program in Building Materials (PFIEV) and the XF group of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction. The course, conducted in French, brought a positive new perspective to creating an international learning environment for students, helping them acquire new knowledge and contributing to meeting the demands of the construction industry labor market in the future.

The class was attended by over 50 students.

The training course was honored to welcome Mr. Nicolas Derveaux, representative of the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Vice Rector of the University, to present certificates of completion.

During the trip, the two professors also held a working session to exchange professional and academic knowledge with the faculty members of the Department of Building Materials on sustainable and environmentally friendly building materials.

The conference featured lively discussions on key research topics related to sustainable building materials worldwide and in Vietnam.
