Space Effect Creativity Contest
The " Creative Space Design with Effect Paint " Contest : The Journey from Idea to Real Product
The "Creative Space Design with Effect Paints" competition, sponsored by CONPA Vietnam Effect Paint Company and the Faculty of Building Materials, has concluded with many outstanding results. The program aimed to create a practical and creative environment for students, while also promoting the connection between architectural design and finishing materials in actual construction.
Preliminary Round: Unexpectedly High Participation, Fostering Design Thinking.
Immediately after its launch, the competition received overwhelming support, forcing the organizers to close registration after only 48 hours due to the number of participating teams exceeding expectations.
In this round, teams had to design a multi-functional wall that could serve both as a place to hang personal items while using the lab and as an aesthetically pleasing decorative piece when not in use.
Despite coinciding with the semester exams, 9 out of 10 teams completed their projects on time. The preliminary results showcased many innovative ideas, demonstrating the students' ability to think about materials and spatial layout. The preliminary judging panel selected three teams with the most outstanding designs to advance to the final round.

Final Round: Product Construction and Public Voting
The three teams that advanced to the final round proceeded to the actual product construction phase. This process received professional support from lecturers in the Chemistry Specialization Group, the Architecture and Technology Specialization Group, and representatives from CONPA Company.
After the products were completed, the Organizing Committee opened an online voting portal to record the interest and evaluation of students and lecturers. Voting points were calculated based on likes, loves, and public shares of the product images.
