Successful Party Cell Congress of Faculty of Building Materials 2022-2025
On September 21, 2022, the Party Branch of the Faculty of Building Materials held its Party Branch Congress for the 2022-2025 term. The congress was attended by all Party members of the Branch and Comrade Pham Xuan Anh, Standing Committee member of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University.

During the 2020-2022 term, along with the rest of the country, the Party Branch of the Faculty of Building Materials also had to face and overcome difficulties caused by the very complex and prolonged Covid-19 pandemic. During this term, the University intensified efforts to develop new training programs, focusing on preparing for the process of university autonomy and implementing digital transformation. Faced with difficulties, challenges, and new opportunities, under the close guidance of the Party Committee, the support of various organizations and units within the University, and the unity and solidarity of the entire Faculty, the Party Branch of the Faculty of Building Materials has led the unit and its members to overcome difficulties and achieve many remarkable results. These include: in training, the Party Branch has led the Faculty to successfully develop training programs, with the high-quality engineering program in Building Materials achieving accreditation standards from CTI for the 2022-2027 cycle, with a teaching hour overtime rate of approximately 2.8 times, and positive changes in the enrollment results for the regular undergraduate program; in scientific research, the Faculty has a research hour overtime rate of more than 5 times the required amount; and has led and participated in numerous scientific research projects at various levels. The Faculty of Building Materials is one of the leading units in the entire university in terms of the ratio of prestigious international publications per faculty member… In addition to the achievements, the summary report and the opinions discussed by party members at the congress also pointed out difficulties, limitations and solutions that have been implemented to overcome them in order to achieve better results.
Comrade Hoang Vinh Long presented the summary report of the 2020-2022 term of the Party Branch of the Faculty of Building Materials.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Pham Xuan Anh agreed with the summary report and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Branch of the Faculty of Construction Materials during the 2020-2022 term, especially in the development of training programs and scientific research . Comrade Pham Xuan Anh also directed the Party Branch to focus more on developing training programs, paying particular attention to the Chemical Engineering major, which has great potential and can effectively utilize the human resources within the Faculty. The Congress exchanged and discussed, and accepted the directives of Comrade Pham Xuan Anh, and outlined several key tasks for the 2022-2025 term, including: focusing on directing the development and implementation of the university autonomy plan; leveraging resources to improve and ensure the quality of training programs; and strengthening communication efforts to introduce, promote, and effectively boost student recruitment.
The Congress elected the Party Committee for the 2022-2025 term, consisting of 5 members: Comrade Van Viet Thien An, Comrade Le Manh Cuong, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Comrade Nguyen Trong Lam, and Comrade Hoang Vinh Long; among them, Comrade Hoang Vinh Long was elected as the Party Secretary, and Comrade Van Viet Thien An was elected as the Deputy Party Secretary.
After a diligent and serious working session, conducted in a democratic spirit and with a high sense of responsibility, the Party Branch of the Faculty of Building Materials successfully held its congress, completing the planned agenda and content.
The Party Committee of the Faculty of Building Materials for the term 2022-2025 was introduced at the Congress.
