HIGH ACHIEVEMENTS IN HANOI REGION STUDENT ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP 2022

From November 12th to 13th, 2022, the Hanoi University, Academy, and College Student Athletics Tournament took place. The tournament was authorized by the Hanoi Professional University Sports Association and hosted by the Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports. The aim of the tournament was to develop the sports and physical training movement among students, creating opportunities for them to improve their health and to exchange knowledge.
Participating in this year's competition, the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering's Athletics team had 10 athletes; and the team excellently completed its mission with 3 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals, with 8 out of 10 participating athletes winning gold medals.
Contributing to the University's athletics team, the Faculty of Building Materials has two students participating, both achieving very impressive results. First is a petite girl with remarkable speed, a member of the university's athletics team since her first year – Hoang Thi Hong Ngat, class 64VL. Ngat won a gold medal in the women's 4x100m relay and a bronze medal in the women's 200m race. The second is Cao Xuan Phuoc, a student from class 66MSE1. This was Phuoc's first time competing with the team, and he achieved a silver medal in the men's 1500m race and second place in the men's team event.
The Faculty of Building Materials congratulates the Athletics team on their achievements and the accomplishments of students Hoang Thi Hong Ngat and Cao Xuan Phuoc. We hope that these two athletes will continue to make many more contributions to the sports movement of the University.
