FIRST PRIZE WINNER AT HUCE-INTECH 2022 FINALS

-Information Board- Faculty of Construction Materials-
On January 11, 2022, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) held the Final Round of the “Hanoi University of Civil Engineering Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2022” - HUCE Innovation and Technology (abbreviated as HUCE-INTECH 2022). This was the second year the competition was held and received enthusiastic participation from students of the university as well as members from outside the university.
The judging panel of the competition included: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, Chairman of the Judging Panel; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Phuong - Head of the Science and Technology Department; Mr. Ngo Kim Tuan - Secretary of the Youth Union; Mr. Bui Quang Trung - Head of the Political Affairs and Student Management Department; Dr. Nguyen Bich Ngoc - Trainer of the "Supporting Youth Entrepreneurship Development" Project and the "Training on Social Enterprises, Innovation and Active Citizenship" Project, along with teachers who are experts in various fields, representatives of units within the university, and the 9 best teams that advanced to the final round.
Nine teams participating in the final round presented their ideas and products directly and received feedback from the judging panel and delegates attending the competition. The submitted ideas were evaluated and selected based on the following criteria: innovative ideas; feasibility and competitiveness of the project; and application of science and technology in all fields. Materials had three teams participating in the HUCE-INTECH 2022 Finals:
1. Research and development of green building materials. Authors: Phan Van Hanh; Do Van Bao; Nguyen Van Hau; Nguyen Thi Huong Giang; Pham Duc Than.
2. Building a brand for ready-mix concrete and franchising. Authors: Lo A Quyen; Phung Duc Hieu; Hoang Thi Hong Ngat; Nguyen Tran Thu Phuong; Ngo Huong Tra.
3. Transforming waste into materials – rich in national cultural beauty. Authors: Tran Van Binh; Nguyen Thi Thanh Chuc; Do Van Hung; Cao Duc Tam. Nguyen Van Thanh's
group, with the idea "Transforming waste into materials - rich in national cultural beauty," won first prize and will represent Hanoi University of Civil Engineering at the 5th "Students and Young Entrepreneurs with Startup Ideas" competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, scheduled for February and March 2023.
