EXCELLENT STUDENTS AND 2022-2023 CHEMISTRY OLYMPIAD
As scheduled, the school-level SVG competition will take place over approximately one month (preparation + exam: expected from the end of December). Afterwards, students with good results and high rankings will be selected for the preparatory team to prepare for the 11th National Chemistry Olympiad (April 2023).
Despite being relatively young, having only participated in the National Student Chemistry Olympiad twice, the Chemistry Olympiad team from the University of Civil Engineering (5 students) has consistently achieved impressive results:
- In 2016, they finished second overall (Group C) with 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, and 1 third prize at the 9th National Chemistry Olympiad.
- In 2018, they won 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 2 third prizes at the 10th National Chemistry Olympiad.
- After a long postponement due to the Covid situation, the 11th National Chemistry Olympiad will take place in April 2023 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
Benefits for students achieving good results:
- The opportunity to live and challenge themselves with their favorite subject.
- An increase in scholarship level if they win a consolation prize or higher at the National Chemistry Olympiad (none of the students have received a consolation prize in the two competitions so far).
