Webometrics World Ranking: HUCE Ranked 25th out of 176 Universities in Vietnam

On July 28, 2020, Cybermetrics Lab announced the results of the second Webometrics ranking of 2020. Webometrics is a global university ranking based on big data analytics, established in 2004, and published twice a year, at the end of January and the end of July. This ranking assesses the digital capabilities, academic capabilities, and the extent to which academic resources are disseminated and influenced by higher education institutions, based on four types of indicators collected from reliable, automated, and online sources.

With this ranking, the University of Civil Engineering has climbed 264 places to rank 5,013th out of more than 30,000 universities worldwide, and 25th out of 176 universities in Vietnam.

The improvement in the July 2020 ranking compared to the January 2020 ranking is mainly attributed to the growth in the Openness rank (Top cited researchers): from 5651 to 2860. This index is linked to the development of the Google Scholar community for the @nuce.edu.vn brand . This is a forum for information exchange and support for scientific publications among lecturers of the University of Civil Engineering.
