On February 9, 2026, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering solemnly held a commendation conference to honor individuals and teams with outstanding ad hoc achievements in 2025. This important event aimed to recognize and promote exemplary efforts in teaching, scientific research, administration and support services, as well as other professional activities of the University.
At the conference, the Faculty of Building Materials was honored to have many lecturers recognized across most categories, clearly reflecting the Faculty’s strong professional momentum, spirit of innovation, and sustained contributions throughout 2025. The recognized achievements spanned a wide range of areas, including scientific research and international publications, innovation in teaching methods, participation in the General Chemistry Olympiad, development and accreditation of academic programs, technology transfer, as well as management and academic support activities.
This achievement is the result of a well-oriented development strategy, strong unity, discipline, and creativity across the Faculty, together with the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Van Viet Thien An, Dean of the Faculty. Under his direction, the Faculty of Building Materials has effectively maintained its research groups, strengthened academic collaboration, aligned training with practical demands, and fostered a spirit of dedication while promoting the strengths of each individual.
Being recognized across multiple categories is not only a source of pride for the honored lecturers, but also a clear testament to the growing reputation and standing of the Faculty of Building Materials within the University’s education and research system. It also serves as a strong motivation for the Faculty to continue making breakthroughs and contributing further to the enhancement of training quality, scientific research, and community engagement in the coming years.
