COOPERATION MEETING: HUCE FACULTY OF BM, THUY LOI UNIVERSITY AND VMAT JSC
On the morning of January 8, 2025, the Department of Building Materials, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, held a meaningful meeting and working session with faculty members from the Building Materials Department, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Thuy Loi University , and Vmat Joint Stock Company. Attending the meeting from Thuy Loi University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Quoc Vuong – Head of the Building Materials Department; Senior Lecturer Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong – Deputy Head of the Department, and other faculty members from the Building Materials Department. From Vmat Joint Stock Company, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Quoc Vuong – Founder and Head of the Expert Committee , along with the company 's team of experts , were present .
During the working session, the Faculty of Construction Materials - Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and the Department of Construction Materials, Thuy Loi University focused on discussing topics related to academic exchange, cooperation in co-supervising student graduation projects, collaborative research, and guidance for master's and doctoral training. In addition, both sides also discussed the possibility of collaborating to implement an intensive master's degree program in the field of construction materials at the Water Resources University, aiming to meet the growing demand for high-quality human resources in the industry.
Regarding Vmat Joint Stock Company , both sides exchanged and agreed on several cooperation contents to promote the development of research and application in construction materials. One notable aspect is that Vmat Joint Stock Company will accept undergraduate students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates from the Faculty of Construction Materials for internships, visits, and research experiments at the company. The Faculty of Construction Materials will invite experts from Vmat Joint Stock Company to Hanoi University of Civil Engineering to present on new products and technologies. Furthermore, Vmat will support lecturers, doctoral candidates, and undergraduate students of the faculty in using advanced experimental equipment at the company. These initiatives not only improve the quality of research but also open up opportunities to access modern technologies, promoting cooperation in research and application . In addition, Vmat is also ready to provide several types of additives for students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates to use in their experiments. Vmat also supports the awarding of valuable scholarships to students of the Faculty of Building Materials .
