Cooperation Agreement Signing between HUCE and Sika Limited Vietnam
On January 7, 2021, a cooperation agreement signing ceremony took place at the University of Civil Engineering between the University of Civil Engineering (UCE) and Sika Vietnam Co., Ltd. to promote training, research, and application in construction and industry in Vietnam.
Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Sika Vietnam Co., Ltd. were Mr. Jacobo Perez Polaino – General Director; and Mr. Pham Huy Cuong – Sales Director. On behalf of the University of Civil Engineering were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung – Head of the International Cooperation Department; Dr. Hoang Vinh Long – Head of the Faculty of Building Materials; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Van Viet Thien An – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Building Materials; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Lam – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Building Materials; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuan – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction.
The Faculty of Building Materials is currently implementing many important scientific research and technology transfer projects related to Sika's chemicals and additives used in construction. Therefore, this will be a great opportunity for the Faculty of Building Materials to promote research cooperation as well as training and internships for students in the near future.

With this new step in their collaborative relationship, the University of Civil Engineering and SIKA Group both hope to jointly develop cooperation programs and joint projects in the near future to meet societal needs in the context of international integration. (
