- Principal investigator of the school-level research project "Research on the use of fine sand in the production of ready-mix concrete" (2013).
- Participated in the survey of the current condition and quality inspection of reinforced concrete structures, proposing solutions to remedy defects in the LP beam concrete structure of berths 2A/2B/3, package B2, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Plant project (2015).
- Principal investigator of the school-level research project "Research on the manufacture of concrete using fine sand and active mineral additive mixture" (2016).
- Participated in the Ministry-level research project "Research on the influence of phosphogypsum from DAP fertilizer production plants replacing natural gypsum on the properties of cement and concrete" (2017-2019).
- Participated in the State-level project "Research on the fabrication and application of porous concrete for rapid drainage and porous structures for water collection and storage in technical infrastructure works to minimize flooding during rain, regulate urban water to adapt to climate change" (2016-2020).
- Participated in the State-level project "Research on the use of thermal power plant fly ash combined with saline sand and FRP fiberglass reinforcement in coastal and island infrastructure projects" (2017-2020).
- Principal investigator of the university-level research project "Research on the production of high-strength ready-mix concrete using fine sand and some readily available raw materials in Vietnam" (2020).
- Participated in the Ministry-level project "Research, selection and recycling of mine waste rock into common construction materials" (2019-2020).
