Announcement: Establishing Alumni Liaison Board of Faculty of Building Materials
On the evening of November 15, 2025, the GALA – INITIATIVE AND CREATION event officially announced the Alumni Network of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering , marking a strategic turning point in systematizing the potential resources of tens of thousands of alumni into an organized driving force for development. The event was held to commemorate Vietnamese Teachers' Day and to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the University's founding (1966-2026). Simultaneously, the Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering presented the Decision to establish the Alumni Liaison Committee of the Faculty of Construction Materials. This committee will serve as a bridge, providing a new platform for generations of alumni to support each other in various fields of activity and, above all, a place to always remember their shared home – the Faculty of Construction Materials – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
On the occasion of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering announcing the establishment of the Alumni Association of the Faculty, Mr. Pham Duc Tinh, class 23VL, composed a deeply emotional poem!
NINE YEARS, MY UNIVERSITY OF CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING

The autumn wind arrives, knocking on the door of time
The cold winter still lingers intensely
For so many years, I've been busy on life's journey
Now I return in familiarity and love.
I remember the old days, a school faintly visible
Thatched roofs, dusty red roads Train wheels
stopped, a small, desolate station
“Construction” school, that place Huong Canh.
Five long years under the green eucalyptus trees
The fragile cold of youth Thanking
life for giving me good health
Overcoming poverty, enjoying youth.
The barren, rocky ground strengthens our feet;
our teachers forge our willpower.
Studying and competing, tirelessly,
so that our lives are not wasted... of the past. Day
after day, we overcome sun and rain, traversing
every path through the earth, from noon to night.
The construction profession is also a path-opening profession;
people connect with each other, a link to the future.
Nine years, countless generations have passed;
the construction school continues its work diligently
, increasing intelligence and sharp minds
. Teachers and students continue in unity
, without ostentation, like underground currents,
nurturing unwavering determination, we silently move forward.
A new era awaits us, tomorrow awaits.
With shared strength and heart, we are filled with unwavering faith.
Following in the footsteps of our ancestors, we preserve our traditions. The
liaison committee allows us to return to our roots,
forging connections and seeking opportunities,
building a foundation, advancing together with our comrades.
Let's hold hands and sing a song;
a large embrace, a harmonious bond of friendship.
Be happy, my friend, don't be afraid
; with favorable winds, the boat sails freely.
The music plays, and we enter the whirlwind of the game.
The construction workers remain the same through the ages.
Live optimistically, let everyone see
that the blood of gratitude flows forever in your heart.
