The organisational structure of the Faculty of Building Materials comprises units directly responsible for education activities, supporting units, and advisory–research organisations that are closely integrated. The Faculty has four units directly involved in education delivery, including three Academic Groups responsible for theoretical teaching and one Academic Group specialising in laboratory for testing and studying of building materials.
The Faculty Office serves as the administrative unit supporting the Faculty Management Board, undertaking tasks related to administrative management, academic organisation, education coordination, and day-to-day operations of the Faculty.
The Faculty Quality Assurance Team, established under the direction of the HUCE Testing and Quality Assurance Office, is responsible for supporting the Faculty Management Board and coordinating with academic groups in implementing and executing Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities in accordance with University guidelines.
The Faculty Scientific and Education Council is established to advise the Dean on planning, strategic development, and the implementation of tasks related to education, scientific research, and professional cooperation.
In addition, the Institute of Research and Application for Tropical Building Materials maintains a close working relationship with the Faculty in researches, applications, and specialised consultancy services. Most of the Institute’s key staff are also lecturers of the Faculty, thereby strengthening the integration between education, research, and industrial practice.
