Mission:

The Faculty of Building Materials (FBM) is mandated to organise and implement high-quality human resource education, applied research, and the transfer of advanced technologies in the fields of materials and industrial production management. Its mission is to meet societal needs in alignment with national orientations toward sustainable development and international integration, thereby contributing to the overall mission of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE).

Vision:

By 2035, the Faculty of Building Materials aims to become one of Vietnam’s leading education institutions with an orientation toward applied research in material production, material utilisation, and industrial production management.
The Faculty strives to produce graduates with solid theoretical and practical foundations in material properties, material production technologies, and industrial production management; who meet labour-market demands; who possess innovation capacity, an entrepreneurial mindset, and strong adaptability within an internationally integrated economy.
The Faculty’s academic staff possess strong professional qualifications, with 100% holding postgraduate degrees, of whom more than 75% hold doctoral degrees. Its education programmes are modern, highly competitive, aligned with global development trends, and accredited by reputable national and international organisations.
